Heat and Damaged LawnsThursday, August 18, 2016

This summers heat and drought just keeps on going. Though the nights are getting a little cooler and we have had some rain, the daytime highs are still getting into the high 20s and feeling hotter with the humidity. With the recent rain the lawns are greening up and showing the damage left behind by the extreme heat and drought that we have been through. Starting in September, start your topdressing and seeding to get those damaged areas back to looking green and healthy. This can be done right through October. |
